Cathy and I grew up in Austin and spent many weekends exploring the hill country and its charming towns. Careers took us to Houston but we always knew we would come back home to the hill country just outside of Austin. Almost three years ago we began an earnest search for property with Wimberley/ Dripping Springs as the focus of that search. Over those three years we looked at numerous parcels in the area before we settled on Mustang Valley.
Mustang Valley is thoughtfully planned with roads that sit comfortably in the landscape and natural draws and ravines with scenic lakes. The tracts are generously sized and well proportioned to insure seclusion for each homesite. The rolling topography not only gives beautiful, classic hill country vistas, but still offers reasonable building sites and drives. The numerous live oaks throughout the entire development complete a truly idyllic place.
We are just under three hours from Houston so it is practicable for a weekend place for the time being and a retirement place for the future. It is only 30 minutes from Austin so we can easily visit our old friends and favorite places there. It is at the gateway to the rest of the hill country so we can continue our weekend exploring. And it is only minutes from Wimberley and Dripping Springs so we have easy access to daily conveniences.
We are thrilled to be starting construction and coming home.

"Choosing to live in Mustang Valley was one of the easiest decision I
have ever made. Once you enter, you're immediately impressed by how
much nature surrounds you. The land is gorgeous with countless
number of beautiful Oak Trees throughout and plenty of waterfront
where you can relax on the water or go fishing. Personally, I like
to escape and enjoy Stand-Up Paddling with a couple of my closest
friends and end the day with a canoe ride and fishing.
Everything
from looking at the properties to negotiating prices were made
extremely easy and without pressure. If you're looking for a place
for a weekend getaway or somewhere to permanently call home, Mustang
Valley is the place to be."

"We live in a suburb outside of Houston, Tx. We were looking for land in the Texas Hill Country. A place that had acreage, yet had the restrictions to protect values. We wanted waterfront property. We came across Mustang Valley. Mike, not only showed us the different tracts available there, but took us around Wimberley to show us other properties that were available on the Blanco River. Mike went above and beyond what any sales person would do and it was evident that his only concern was us.
What made Mustang Valley so attractive, was all the qualities such as paved roads, private over sized tracts, underground electricity, parks, lakes, and an agricultural exemption. With all of this, it was easy to see why Mustang Valley became our #1 choice.
Thank You Mike & Mustang Valley!"

"My husband and I have been looking for a new place in Wimberley for some time. With the birth of our second child, our family needed more room. In reviewing the various options in Wimberley, it was clear Mustang Valley was the place for us. Mustang Valley has everything we were looking for. Fantastic views and abundent oaks are the first thing we noticed as we drove through the beautiful, winding roads. The heavily wooded lots and ample deed restrictions ensure privacy. The large acreage lots and equestrian easement were perfect for our horses. The park that will be going in soon will also provide great family outings for our boys and friends.
Additionally, working with the staff was a fantastic experience that continued long after the sale. They took a personal interest in us and have continued to help and work with us months after we closed. Mustang Valley is going to be a great place to live."

""Hill Country views, AG tax exemption, and underground electric--one of the most meticulously and cautiously developed areas of the beautiful Hill Country, Mustang Valley is developed with a passion for preserving the natural landscape and wildlife of the Texas Balcones Escarpment. With the breathtaking views, roaming wildlife, and euphoric feel of the Texas Hill Country, one recalls that Mustang Valley is a community only by the waving neighbors.
We love how Mustang Valley is developed with meandering curved roads and paths leading to ultimate privacy on each tract of land. With genuine caring and a vision for preserving Earth's beauty, the intimate Hill Country views are enhanced by three beautiful lakes/ponds around several natural springs. The charming town of Wimberley is just a short 5 miles away and the waving neighbors are becoming like family to us. Hiking around our 5+ acres, we have met hawks, jackrabbits, roadrunners - not to mention the rare axis and fallow deer.
We are thankful for the developer's knowledge and passion for the hill country, the spring fed ponds and lakes, and the awesome views of the Blanco River Valley. As we build our new home, we are enjoying our beloved Hill Country dream spot in Mustang Valley and can't wait to move from Austin."
